CERTIFICATE IN SOCIAL MEDICAL WORK (KNEC PROGRAMME)
COURSE OVERVIEW
This is a one year course whose objective is to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes
that will enable them perform and manage development activities in society.
Medical social workers typically work in a hospital, outpatient clinics, community health agency,
skilled nursing facility, long term care facility or hospice.
They work with patients for psychological help and counseling.
